LKL works with the National University of Lao (Faculty of Forestry Sciences) to develop its capacity to deliver improved training and academic knowledge on protected area and wildlife management. This is in support of the Second Lao Environment and Social Project (LENS2), financed by the World Bank. This project seeks to strengthen selected environmental protection management systems, specifically for protected areas conservation, enforcement of wildlife laws and environmental assessment management.

As part of the on going support to the National University of Lao (NUOL) LKL facilitated a leadership development seminar for the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Laos in support of the World Bank Lao Environment and Social Project (LENS2). This highly interactive program used the methodogy developed by the Collaborative Leadership for Development (CL4D) Team of the World Bank.
