This month, I had the privilege to participate in a Symposium on the Science of Management organized by the University of California Merced. With the amazing backdrop of Yosemite National Park, it was unique opportunity to celebrate the UC system 150 years anniversary and to reflect on the phenomonal relationship between the University of California and the National Park Service. Lots of very interesting presentations on the history, management, technology, innovation, and the triple bottom line. Also a wonderful keynote address given by the 15th National Park Service Director Robert Stanton.
